A marmot. A red scarf. A whole mountain to climb.
Marmotta is a pixel-art beat 'em up set in the Alps. Foxes, squirrels, boars, eagles, ibexes and stoats stand between you and the summit, and two giant bosses guard the way: the Great Bear, who charges into walls and stays dazed, and the Giant Eagle, who dives, gusts and throws feathers, then lands exhausted after three dives. Chain two punches into an uppercut, jump-kick from above and bounce off heads; hold the fist, then release to roll into a ball and smash through the crowd, invincible; fill your gauge and unleash the marmot's alarm whistle.
Every one of the six stages brings something new: bouncing mushrooms in the larch forest, rope bridges that give way and floating logs over a raging torrent, falling rocks on the scree, slippery ice and blizzard on the glacier, lightning on the stormy summit. Pick dandelions to buy upgrades and colourful scarves in the shop, and let the checkpoints keep every stage fair. Made for touch, with big buttons and a thumb that never has to aim.
